Top 5 Wednesday: SFF BFFs

What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: SFF BFFs -BooktubeSFF Awards Crossover Topic-

1. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas

I'd love to be Lysandra's friend, okay maybe Lysandra from later books. She's strong, fierce and sassy. She'd look out for her friends but is never afraid to tell them when they're doing something wrong. I'd want her in my corner.

I have a review for Tower of Dawn here.

I have a review for Kingdom of Ash here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

2. Gemina by Amie Kauffman and Jay Kristoff

Regardless of the situation, Nik is someone who'd just make you laugh. He's opinionated and passionate but still knows when to tone it down if someone needs the compassionate side of him. I loved how he looked after his cousin.

I have a review for Illuminae here.

I have a review for Gemina here.

I have a review for Obsidio* here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

3. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Who wouldn't want to be friends with the jelly bean eating fox Sophocles?

I have a review for Iron Gold* here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

4. The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden

I'm sensing a theme here with the men I'd like to be friends with. They're all the brooding mysterious kind. Morozko definitely fits in with that. Cold indeed but he shows a lot of compassion when he cares for someone.

I have a review for The Bear and the Nightingale here.

I have a review for The Girl in the Tower here.

I have a review for The Winter of the Witch here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

5. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

Azriel is another brooding and very private guy but the tenderness he shows towards Elain melts me every time I read it. He fights for those he loves and he loves fiercely. It doesn't hurt having an Illyrian warrior fighting for you!

I have a review for A Court of Wings and Ruin here.

I have a review for A Court of Frost and Starlight here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.
