Top 5 Wednesday: Redemption Arcs

What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: Redemption Arcs

1. The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury

Leif.

I adored him at first, I thought he was the most wonderful character...needless to say I was very quickly proven wrong. However, in The Scarecrow Queen (review here) he very quickly redeemed himself and turned me into an emotional wreck....

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

Lucien.

I think we all know why this gent falls into this category. I've always adored him as a character but turning a blind eye to something makes you just as culpable as the person committing the act.

I have a review for A Court of Wings and Ruin here.

I have a review for A Court of Frost and Starlight here.

4. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas

Manon.

She's always been one of my favourite characters in the Throne of Glass world but she hasn't always been on the right side. In the latest novels, though she's still very much unpredictable her heart, for the most part, is in the right place. She's quite possibly one of my favourite characters just in general in the book world.

I have a review for Tower of Dawn here.

1. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

Snape.

Well duh.

5. A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin

Jaime Lannister.

Okay, so he threw a child out of a window because he saw him and Cersei...in an intimate position. But he got better! I mean, he's still not a great person but he's getting better...
