Top 5 Wednesday: Nostalgic Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends

What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: Nostalgic Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends

2. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

I don't know how many people can relate to this but I had a massive crush on Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain. It was only when I watched the film that I thought this, honestly I still do. I have such a thing for accents. It's a problem.

5. Glass House by Rachel Caine

I still love this series and all the characters but none more so than Shane. Oh how I love thee. When I was younger he was the broody hair flippy man of my dreams. Now, I still think this.

2. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

I feel like I'm due a re-read of this series soon. I always describe is as my hot chocolate and blanket book. It's one that just so lovely to snuggle up with. And I wouldn't mind doing that with the main character Sam. Like I said it's been years since I've read this but all I can remember is how obsessed I was with this series...and him.

4. My Love Lies Bleeding by Alyxandra Harvey

This series provided me with plenty of Book Boyfriend material. All of the Drake Brothers were swoon worthy but my favourite was definitely Nicholas. A family of vampires, it was angsty and cliche and I loved love it.

5. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Aged fourteen/fifteen who wasn't a little bit in love with Dimitri Belikov after reading this series? Buff half vampire protector? (my god did I actually just use the word buff...) Yes please. Another series that I could probably re-read and still love.

Who are some of your nostalgic book boyfriends/girlfriends?

Thank-you for reading,
