What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: Most Anticipated 2019 Releases

1. Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard

I've been dying for more books set in the Witchlands world. I need to know what happened to my favourites, what became of Owl and if what I'm hoping happens...happens. I GOTS TO KNOW.

I have a review for Windwitch here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

2. On the Come Up by Angie Thomas

I adored Angie Thomas' first novel and fully intend to purchase any and all the novels she ever writes. I'm intrigued to see what I'll think of On The Come Up simply because it features something I know nothing about...rapping. Well, unless Hamilton counts.

I have a review for The Hate U Give here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

3. Dark Age by Pierce Brown

Well duh.

I have a review of Iron Gold* here.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

4. Enchantee by Gita Trelease

Paris is possibly my favourite city ever. I absolutely adore it and will read anything set there. But when you add magic and a historical setting into the mix my little heart sings. My first thought was Les Mis with magic and I am very excited.

You can find the Goodreads page here.

5. Finale by Stephanie Garber

I need closure. Legendary* left me in absolute turmoil I have no idea what's going on. Honestly, I read it that long ago that I can't remember what actually happened for the most part. I certainly remember the biggest reveal of the book, and possibly the series. I can't wait to see how that plays out.

I have a review for Caraval here.

I have a review for Legendary* here.
