Top 5 Wednesday: Holiday Party Fictional Food

What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: Holiday Party Fictional Food

1. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling

Oh good god the sweets, any and all sweets. Nothing filled me with more joy than watching the trolley make its way down the Hogwarts express. I have tried Bertie Bots Every Flavour Beans and can confirm they really mean every flavour...

2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Levi's magical coffee creations. They made my heart happy. My favourite time of year is when the Pumpkin Spice Lattes come out, closely followed by all the festive drink. This year my favourite is the Brûlée latte from Starbucks. It's incredible. And full of sugar....as Sam likes to remind me.

3. Caraval by Stephanie Garber

My favourite scene from this book was the carousel shedding the rose petals and them ending up on Scarlett's waffles. I have honestly had dreams about those waffles. I quite like to give making them a go...

I have a full review of Caraval here.

I have a full review of Legendary* here.

4. A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E Schwab

Candied plums, though I haven't tried them I want to give them a go! I've recently, as a result of someones influence (can we guess who?) I've started to become a little more adventurous with my foods. I think having Kell make me Candied Plums would be a good one to try.

I have a review for A Gathering of Shadows here.

I have a review for A Conjuring of Light here.

5. A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin

Sansa's lemon cakes always made me want to drool. Lemon is possibly one of my favourite flavours of anything. I might have to try making something like that... I will most definitely need assistance...
