3. Red Rising by Pierce Brown

Sevro isn't your typical joker. He's more like the kind to pull practical jokes if pulling one meant having your friends old eyeballs transplanted into your head and scaring them when they woke up...His sense of humour is also vile. I adore it. He remains one of my favourite characters in general. Not just from Red Rising or as a joker.

I have a review of Iron Gold* here.

3. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Levi is your run of the mill goofball that's happy more than happy to be the punchline of a joke if it means making someone else smile. He's the kind of person I'd want to make me giggle if I was having a down day. Admittedly, I have my own version of Levi and he's pretty great if I do say so myself.

3. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E Lockhart

It's been a while since I've read this but I loved it. Frankie takes the cake when it comes to pranks. Think senior year final term pranks but at college and arranging them as an evil mastermind. She's brilliant and devious. I need to read this again soon.

4. A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin

I can't think of anyone with sharper wit than Tyrion Lannister. He might not be cracking jokes but he certainly knows how to turn someone into one. I think his sense of humour is the closest to mine. I prefer banter and sarcasm to pranks and the like. There's even a book about his wit and wisdom...which would be brilliant to read.

I think every single character in Lumberjanes is a joker in some way. The entire set up is just full of humour and you can't help but smile and giggle as you read it. I love this series so much. I need to catch up on it though!
