Top 5 Wednesday: Characters You’d Want at Friendsgiving

What is Top 5 Wednesday?

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly book meme hosted by Sam of Thoughts on Tomes on YouTube. Here is the link for the Goodreads group where you can find the list of topics and such.

This weeks topic is: Characters You'd Want at Friendsgiving

1. Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia

Eliza.

I feel like she'd be such a nice person to have at a Friendsgiving, she's just so sweet. Her love of illustration and story telling would make her a great companion for me specifically. That, and I imagine she makes a good pumpkin pie. Something I've never tried but really want to. Probably very wrong but I imagine it's like a pie form of a Pumpkin Spice Latte. That I can definitely get behind.

2. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

Azriel.

I just want to look after Azriel. He's had such a rough time of it, with his family and Mor. He deserves to be fed lovely food. I bet he'd be rather good at the whole military operation like situation that is getting everything to finish cooking at the same time. I can't cook that well so that gets left to my mother, or Sam. If I'm ever left in charge of Sunday or Christmas dinner there's bound to be tears....

2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Cath.

Similarly to Eliza, I feel like Cath would be such a nice person to have round. She'd be so helpful, and wherever she goes Wren, Levi and the rest go. They'd be a fun group to hang out with, though I can only imagine the bickering.

4. Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas

Lysandra.

Oh I can just imagine the sass and humour Lysandra would bring to the table. She'd be hilarious to have round, though I bet she wouldn't sugarcoat it if she didn't like the food. I'd be interested to see how she and Azriel got on. She'd certainly lived up the party!

4. Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Zelie.

Similarly to Azriel, I just want to give Zelie a nice night. All the characters in Children of Blood and Bone deserve a break. Tomi certainly put them through the wringer. Zelie would bring a level of organisation to the whole charade, as well as a bit of mischief. A meal without laughter isn't a proper meal in my opinion.
