One of my new favourite graphic novel series for sure, and excitingly one I think would be suitable for children!
In work, we get so many kids bringing the Deadpool graphic novels and such to the till and they just not age appropriate and the parents don't realise. I'm not saying that I censor anything regarding books but sometimes we get asked do you have any that my *insert age here* could read? This one!
It's so cute whilst still maintaining all of the adventures of regular superhero graphic novels. It's also set at either college or university which you hardly ever see in any form of storytelling. It's an age that gets grossly overlooked. As far as I'm aware I can only recall three other novels/graphics that take place at that stage; Frat Girl, Giant Days and Fangirl.
Despite being set at college/uni there isn't any sexual content or drinking or anything really.
It's just such a wholesome story, I mean there's hardly any fighting...
So cute.
