I have blue eyes. I know, you absolutely needed to know that. However, for those of you that have yet to hear this golden nugget of information. Bronze eyeshadow looks fantastic with blue eyes. Go forth and run my blue eyed friends. But seriously, in the whole colour theory thing they really compliment each other. One of my favourite looks is a bronze shadow all across the lid with a matte brown in the outer corner, and though as I've mentioned before my shadow tends to stay in place without the need for a base, I find using one intensifies whatever you put on top. Enter the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise in the Shade Bette.
Otherwise known as the most stunning cream shadow I've ever had the pleasure of using. It's long lasting, creamy and very easy to blend. The Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadows do dry down quickly so there isn't much playtime but once they're dry but they don't move. If I'm feeling incredibly lazy but still want my make-up to be on point I'll use Bette and blend my bronzer into the crease and jobs done. Looks fab and like I've put loads of effort in. In the not to distant future I reckon my collection of these will expand. Highly highly reccomend.
