Somebody's Husband, Somebody's Son is perhaps the most terrifying book I've read. It's a biographical account of the life of Peter Sutcliffe, otherwise known as the Yorkshire Ripper. Burn takes us from his childhood right up to the moment he was sentenced for his crimes. Covering everything from his jobs as a youth, his married life and his family. The detail was astounding.
