When Sam and I went to Port Meirion we found an independent cosmetics shop, run by a lovely lady called Debbie. I fell in love with Snowdonia Soaps. They specialise in bath products, be that bath bombs, whipped soap, bath salts to name but a few. I promised myself that eventually I'd make an order on their website and did so a little while back. I've been testing out their products since.
All of the scent descriptions are from the Snowdonia website.
I've tried their whipped soaps before but never this scent. They're a thick, luxurious semi sold soap that lathers up wonderfully with only a small amount. This is subtly perfumed, there's a sherbet-like smell mixed with something I can't put my finger on. It reminds me of something I used a long time ago. This one, Pink and Bubbly isn't available on the site any more but new products, specials and restocks come back onto the website all the time.
Oh my, Black Raspberry and Vanilla. What a scent. It smells good enough to eat and believe me I've been tempted. Imagine the inside of a summer fruit pie topped with vanilla icecream. That's this. I love the new design of the labels as well, very contemporary. The different colours complement the product inside very well. This one I've taken to Sam's to use, I suspect that he might well be enjoying it.
Its scent description is: Scented in Black Raspberry and Vanilla - a delicious fruity, floral fragrance with top notes of raspberry, orange, blackcurrant, blueberry, pear and bergamot. Your warm shower will bring out the middle and base notes of jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood.
I can't get over how citrusy the Pink Lemonade Bubble Crumble smells! If I was ever the person to have morning baths this would be my go to. I can only imagine how energizing it must be to smell that in the morning. The packaging these come in makes me smile, it reminds me of ice cream tubs. They almost look good enough to eat.
Its scent description is The beautiful pink lemonade fragrance is light and sparkly with top notes of lemon, orange and pineapple. Sweet strawberry and a vanilla base complete this gorgeous scent.
The Rhubard and Custard Bubble Crumble smells exactly like the retro sweets. Honestly, I could sit here smelling this tub all day. A few chunks crumbled into the bath make plenty of bubbles. It's a nice alternative to bath bombs and would be great for travel. Put a small amount in a little container to bring some home comfort on a trip with you.
It's scent description is: The fragrance cleverly combines the tartness of fruity rhubarb with the sweetness of custard.
Wild Fig and Cassis Bubbling Bath Salts feel like and smell like a spa in a bag. It's a light floral with a slight fruity note. If I remember rightly this was a perfume that Jo Malone did. I can't attest to the similarity but the feeling this gives me when smelling it reminds me of other Jo Malone perfumes I wear. It's very decadent yet subtle. Also...so many bubbles!
I need this one as a perfume. Patchouli is one of my favourite scents in general but to mix it with orange, just wow. The Orange and Patchouli bubbling bath salts are one of my (many) favourites from Snowdonia Soaps. It's so heady and wonderful, filling the bathroom with the most amaaaazing scent. I need more of this. NOW!
