I very nearly didn't manage to get this box. I missed out on the first drop and didn't realise how few were available. Fortunately, whilst on holiday I managed to grab one in the second release. It took a look for furious tapping and praying that my wi-fi held up whilst out in Sicily. I'm so so glad it did. I adored this box. Everything was amazing! This month's theme was Witches be Crazy. Love it, Fairyloot you have outdone yourself.

I've been dying to get my hands on a copy of Serpent & Dove ever since I heard about the release. It sounds utterly fantastic and has been getting just amazing reviews. And now I have this gorgeous edition. There's also artwork under the dust jacket of the characters done by _saintdri.
**Taken from the blurb**
Bound as one to love, honor, or burn.
Two years ago, Louise le Blanc fled her coven and took shelter in the city of Cesarine, forsaking all magic and living off whatever she could steal. There, witches like Lou are hunted. They are feared. And they are burned.
Sworn to the Church as a Chasseur, Reid Diggory has lived his life by one principle: thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. His path was never meant to cross with Lou's, but a wicked stunt forces them into an impossible union—holy matrimony.
The war between witches and Church is an ancient one, and Lou's most dangerous enemies bring a fate worse than fire. Unable to ignore her growing feelings, yet powerless to change what she is, a choice must be made.
And love makes fools of us all.

I've already been using this gorgeous tote bag so much. It's absolutely huge too! I can fit an awful lot of books in it... This was designed by bandofweirdos.

I can't wait to get a chance to play with these cards. The designs are absolutely stunning and I love the silver edges. The face cards have images of the characters from Charmed and Sabrina illustrated by obsidiayan and the characters from Throne of Glass and Serpent & Dove by crookedyew.

I have these on now...they're amazing. So comfy and cosy and I adore the design. Very apt for the time of year. These were created by Team Fairyloot.
It's hard to decide but this might be my favourite item of all, though I do love everything. My enamel pin collection has grown exponentially. This 'Not Your Basic Witch' pin is epic. It was designed by thatslovelydearshop.

My bath bomb arrived a little squished but my god it smells good. I can't wait to use this. It was created by littleheartsgifts.

Such a cute little note pad. With doing my dissertation my life has become overrun with sticky notes. I don't feel like I can ever have enough. These were designed by Fairyloot as well.
I'm assuming this months tarot cards are also from Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me but unfortunately, I have no idea who the characters are supposed to be. Once again the art was done by loweana.art.

So that was my September Fairyloot Unboxing!
Have you tried any bookish subscription boxes before?
