Straight away, I noticed how all three powders in the Zoeva Rose Golden palette were wonderfully soft and creamy to the touch. The highlighter and blush are far more pigmented than the contour but I quite like that. I know I'm very heavy handed and easily go overboard with bronzer/contour. I've caught myself with the contour beard every now any again so a sheerer contour has been a godsend for me and the people that have to look at me.
The blush shade 'Palace Door' isn't the blush for me..at all. I like a satin/matte blush and this one is so dang shimmery its verging on NARS Orgasm territory. I mean the most shimmery blush I reach for is Milani Luminoso. The only use I can think of for it would be as an eyeshadow and even then it isn't a colour I gravitate towards.
The highlighter in 'glowing still' is beautiful but again I'm not entirely sure its for me. It has an intense golden reflect that pulls very yellow on my very pale skin.
I think this is a beautiful palette but in hindsight I don't think it was the right one for me. Still, I intend to get as much use out of it as possible. You know, keep that contour beard at bay. If you have a darker complexion than myself I definitely think you'd love this palette.
Have you tried the Zoeva Rose Golden Palette?
What did you think?
