I adore this shade, its a beautiful true red that'd suit any skin tone. What I intensely dislike is the chemical/plastic-y smell, kind of the same smell that bouncy balls give off. You can't smell it when its applied but in the actual tube. Oh my. It had me a little concerned as to what I'm putting on my face.
Chemical concerns aside, this lipstick has a very similar formula to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cremes. It doesn't completely dry down, has a mousy texture but still has a matte finish. I had this on for about an hour and after removing it found it had already stained my lips. It doesn't have the best longevity but it fades evenly. And there are plenty of different shades to take your pick from. In all honesty I'm more likely to go pick up another Soft Matte Lip creme than one of these. As nice as the formula of the Plush Mattes I can't get over the smell. I might have simply ended up with a bad one but I don't want to pay another £9.50 and risk it. Make-Up Geek powders however - I can't get enough.
Have you tried the Make-Up Geek Plush Matte Lip Cremes?
