The never-ending slew of Little Red Riding Hood retelling reviews continues. This gorgeous edition would make such a lovely present for someone's child. I know I'd love to read this to mine in the future. It's super interactive and also full of beautiful illustrations. The bright colours would be wonderful to stimulate a baby's mind too. It does however very much follow the girl needs saving by a bloke shtick. That's the main reason why I didn't rate this higher. A lot of the retellings I've found have had more of an emphasis on female empowerment and familial trust.
