Nyx Haul #1

NYX has been one of my favourite brands for years but I'd only really played with a few of their products..and the taupe blush. The only powder contour that works on my incredibly pale skin. Last time I nipped into the large Boots near me I lost 90% of my self control and ended up with a fuller basket than I anticipated...

I'm a huge fan of being able to customise eyeshadow palettes. No matter how pretty the pre-made ones are theres usually at least two shadows that remain virtually untouched. I've already been steadily filling up some Z Palettes with the Make-Up Geek Single Eyeshadows which I thought were an incredible price. Then I saw the NYX single shadows...

The vibrant pink (named Wild Orchid) is part of the Hot Singles Eyeshadows collection and is only £2.50. It's incredibly pigmented, bendable and long wearing. Exactly like the other two shadows I picked up, but both of those are the Prismatic Singles in the shades Bedroom eyes and Fireball (these were a little more expensive at £5.50.)

I never go a day without wear eyeliner. I feel naked if I do, without a cat eye I don't feel like me. Sometimes it gets rather monotonous which is why I decided to try and put a twist on my regular look. Hence, the purchase of the Vivid Bright Eyeliners. I picked up the shades Fire and Halo with the intention of doing a double cat eye liner. Still the same idea but with a pop of colour. What I will say about these is that they crack rather easily if you apply too much. Try, if possible, to use as little product as possible and they tend to last better then.

Have you tried any of the NYX products I mentioned? What did you think?

Thank-you for reading,
