After kicking myself for not picking up the Fairyloot October Box I knew I wanted to jump on the November Box. Especially, when I heard the theme. Ladies that slay. Um yes, yes please. This unboxing is decidedly late (dang uni work) and since then I have also received the December Box (unboxing coming soon) and also have ordered the January and February box. So I kinda love Fairyloot okay...
Again I'll start with the books. Yes you read that right. BOOKS. Plural. This month we not only received a signed hardback YA fantasy with an exclusive cover, we were also given an ARC/PROOF of the upcoming Furyborn by Claire Legrand. Spoiled or what? So this month the main book was The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli (Goodreads page here) which I already owned in ARC form but I adore the final cover. I'm thrilled to have both copies and no doubt they'll feature on my Instagram soon. Shameless plug I know. The Last Namsara is filled with dragons, fighting and all around awesomeness.
Furyborn by Claire Legrand (Goodreads page here) sounds right up my alley. I saw the words assassin and I was sold. Following two women separated by centuries but fighting in the same war. There's magic, political intrigue and I'm hoping a lot of sass.
Who doesn't love a candle? Fools. That's who. I kid. If you're not a fan then you do you boo. This lovely one is titled the Brightest Witch candle and smells of Vanilla, Lily, Musk, Raspberry and Citrus. Being in the Uk I've never ordered from Flick the Wick before because shipping. It's extortionate. However, I'm kinda tempted now to place an order regardless. I love the black tins these come in as well. They just look so snazzy.
This is going onto my jacket like ASAP. This fabulous Hunger Games patch comes from the Literary Emporium and it just makes me so happy. I'm thinking of making a book themed jacket because I also have a Gryffindor patch... Then we were also sent, by the publisher of TLN an enamel pin promoting the book This Mortal Coil.
So to start. This book sleeve is one of the best things I have ever bought/received/anything. Aside from being beautiful it protects my books. Which makes me so so happy. I'm a little precious about my books, both when I buy them then as I read them. 90% of the books I've read still look brand-new. I was a little concerned that with it being white it's get dirty but no. It's magical. This was designed by the superbly talented Aunjuli Art.
Every month we get a beautiful illustration by Taratjah on the spoiler card. There's a dragon. I love this. Then the beautiful Fight the Darkness sticker from Reverie & Ink. I love the pastel tones in this. I haven't yet stuck it to anything...but it's currently blu-tacked to my bookshelves. Then we got a print from the publisher to do with The Last Namsara.
Finally, we have Blue's Brew a delicious (yes I've tried it) fruit tea from Bookish Teas. I wish it was in a bag rather than a pot but other than that I really enjoyed this and will continue to drink it! Also it has glitter in it...
So that was my November Fairyloot Unboxing!
