I'm obsessed.
Maid-sama! is one of the most fun series I've read in a long time. It perfectly walks the line between silly and serious with an awful lot of cheekiness.
It follows Misaki Ayuzawa, the first female class president of her school, that up until recently was an all-male school. She's determined to improve the school's reputation but she has a secret. To help out with bills and such at home Ayuzawa works at a Maid Cafe. Something that she isn't proud of. Then her classmate, and the most popular guy at school, Takumi Usui, found out. Yet, he keeps her secret and starts looking out for her. Which she hatessss.
Honestly, I'm *this* close to ordering all the manga in this series I loved it that much. It's silly and lighthearted yet still manages to make you think. Ayuzawa is quick to judge others and slowly she starts to realise that not everyone is out to get her, some people just want to be her friend, maybe even more. Usui is the typical protective, slightly creepy and doesn't know what boundaries mean kind of male lead. You can't help but like him. He is pretty swoon-worthy too.
Such a fun and addictive manga.
