I've been a long time Lush fan, or a Lushie if you will. I've used their products for years and some I've loved more than others. I adore the Rub Rub Rub scrub, Mask of Magnaminty, the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar and so many more. I decided to take myself into Lush and have a look at their new Valentines Day Collection. I'm not a fan of Valentines Day, at all. Not because I'm a bitter shrew or wander about the house in a wedding dress like Miss. Havisham. It's just not for me. Some people don't like Halloween *shrugs*. But I do love the collections that are brought out around that time. And a huge thank-you to the lovely shop assistant with fabulous pink hair from the Manchester Arndale Lush who spent agessss talking me through the products. I smelled glorious when I left. Thank-you. Thank-you. Thank-you.
Love Boat Bath Bomb
The moment I saw this on the website I needed to see it for myself. It's such a cute design and I can't wait to see what colours this turns the water. There are little hearts on the bottom of the boat to that melt in the bath. It's a pretty big bath bomb too so if you wanted you could split it in order to get more use out of it. Then the smell. Oh my god. It smells like crushed up love heart sweets. On the list of ingredients it shows Citric Acid, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Organic Sweet Orange Oil and Rose Oil to be among the top. I absolutely love this, I'm definitely going to need more.
Melt My Heart Massage Bar
I could sit and smell this massage bar all day, it's a deep woody scent. Quite sexy, the kind you'd wear on a date night. This smells of Dried Rose Petals, Orris Root Powder, Cypress Oil, Orange Flower Absolute. I know what a few of those words are and smell like but not many! Regardless I adore this. I've never used one of the massage bars but from what I understand it's essentially a solid moisturiser and there's loads of cocoa butter in this. You warm it up with your hands and then apply. I shall report back.
Cloak of Invisibility Bath Oil
I confess, this isn't from the Valentines range, but just look at the name. How could I not? I love the bath oils too. They melt in the water and you step out feeling wonderfully moisturised. This particularly one is very fresh smelling but also earthy. I love it. This one has Organic Shea Butter, Jasmine Absolute, Rosewood Oil, Ylang Ylang Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Almond Oil among the ingredients. It's lovely.
