Tiny pots of magic are the best way I could describe the Make Up Forever Star Lit Powders. They're a glittery, bright, metallic multi-use product. Very finely milled they can be packed onto the eyelid or depending on the shade used as a highlighter. They do however create a fair bit of mess. The sifter isn't ideal and spillages are unavoidable, there also tends to be a lot of fallout no matter how well you tap off your brush/finger. Using some kind of fixing medium or glitter glue might cut down the fallout.
I don't find myself reaching for these as much as I thought I might but when the mood strikes they look absolutely stunning. I particularly love the shade 12, swept all over the lid or applied wet the copper tones really enhance my blue eyes. Pigments usually tend to last a lot longer so I don't mind spending a little extra on them - £14.50 for this tub of sparkly wonderfulness isn't eye-watering.
Have you tried these? What did you think?
