I absolutely loved this Fairyloot box. There were so many amazing items for a few of my favourite books and also a few of my most anticipated reads. It's always exciting when we get two books as well, especially when they're this gorgeous. This month's theme was A Different Kind of Magic.
I've seen this cover floating around social media but I hadn't really looked into the synopsis of the book. Now, having done so I'm very intrigued. Forest of Souls has killer trees...

After years of training to become the queen's next royal spy, Sirscha Ashwyn's plans are derailed when shamans attack and kill her best friend Saengo.
And then Sirscha, somehow, restores Saengo to like.
Unveiled as the first soulguide in living memory, Sirscha is summoned to the domain of the Spider King. For centuries, he had used his influence over the Dead Wood - an ancient forest possessed by souls - to enforce peace between the kingdoms. Now, with the trees growing wild and untamed, only a soulguide can restrain them. As war looms, Sirscha must master her newly awakened abilities before the trees shatter the brittle peace, or worse, claim Saengo, the friend she would die for.
Then the second book I had heard of but we've received our copies super early! The Gilded Ones is due for release in Spring 2021! How stunning is that cover? I can't wait to read this. It sounds fantastic.

Deka lives in fear of the blood ceremony that will determine whether she can become a member of her village. If she bleeds red, she will belong. But on the day of the ceremony, her blood runs gold - the colour of impurity, of a demon.
The consequences force Deka to leave her village with a mysterious woman, destined to join an army of girls like her - the alaki, girls who are near-immortals with rare gifts, and the only ones able to stop the empire's greatest threat.
But as she journeys to the capital to train for the battle of her life, Deka discovers the great walled city holds many surprises. Nothing and no one are quite what they seem - not even Deka herself...
These coasters are absolutely going in the office when it's finished. They're that perfect level of geeky whilst still being a little bit subtle. You'd only know they were Avatar: The Last Airbender themed if you'd seen the show. These were designed by Noverantale.
This is getting used immediately. It's going to be perfect for making a cup of tea. I have a clear teapot with a built-in steeper but sometimes you just need one cup ya know? Of course, what better fandom to create a tea strainer for than Alice in Wonderland.
I'm obsessed with these tarot cards. A Darker Shade of Magic is one of my favourite series and V.E. Schwab is one of my favourite authors and general people. This month I'm unsure of who designed these cards as the monthly spoiler card has the wrong information printed. It implies that these are characters from Sarah J Maas' Throne of Glass series which were last months. Sorry!
