In all honesty I haven't read the books the majority of the candles in this box correspond to. That doesn't mean I like it any less though. They all still smell amazing, as per usual. This months theme was Epic Adventures and my god I wish I was on one now. Every month I wonder how Book and Nook come up with the scent combinations and names of the candles. They're all so wonderful.
This keyring speaks to my soul. I adore dragons, they're my favourite mythological creature and this goes perfectly with the Game of Thrones keyring already on my keys. The sparkly eggs always make me smile when I see them now. Once again this bookmark for this month is so cute. I've got quite the collection now! This might have my favourite quote so far though, I haven't read Lord of the Rings but I've been meaning to.
I have yet to read His Dark Materials but this candle certainly makes me want to pick them up. Oh my god it's insane. It smells like a Mocha. It's fantastic. I want one in every room of the house and one I can carry with me when I visit people. It's just incredible. I have no idea what Cittagazze represents in The Northern Lights but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. The official scent name of this is Choca Mocha. I need another ten.
Next up is The University, a place I believe is from The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Another book I have yet to read...this one has notes of Lemon Verbena, Bliss and Dark Fairytale. I have to ask, what on earth does bliss and dark fairytale smell like?!
Then Dracarys, clearly Game of Thrones inspired. This is such a unique scent, my mum isn't a massive fan, my dad was undecided but I adore it. Fireside, Leather and Night. Again...What does night actually smell like?! It reminds me of men's aftershave anyway.
The Shire, though I haven't read Lord of the Rings, as I mentioned earlier or the Hobbit. I have seen all the films and loved them. The label on this is perfect too, so much and green. Just like The Shire. I'd love to go to the sets in New Zealand one day...might have to be something I add to the ever growing list. This one smells of Cedarwood and Pine, it's super fresh.
Finally, we have The Magic Wardrobe. I wonder what this could be from....Narnia of course! Yet another film franchise I loved..that I haven't yet read the books for. This one smells of Snow and berries. I'm kinda surprised that they didn't go with rose or something so it'd be like the Turkish Delight from the first book. ...And now I want Turkish Delight...
