Yet another Book and Nook box. I can't not order them now. I really should burn the candles and my family has said as much but I just don't wanna. If I do that then the candle eventually gets used up and that makes me sad. This months theme was Winter Wonderland and considering the amount of snow my area has been experiencing I think it's pretty apt!
Starting off with my favourite candle from this box - You, Entire. Inspired by Wintersong which I still need to read. It's very fruity but also quite clean. A little like floor wipes but in the most lovely way. The label says Pomegranate, Clementine and Snowberry. Love it.
Next up we have Ketterdam. Home of my favourite bloodthirsty criminal. Ah Kaz. How I love thee. This candle straight up smells like an attractive man. It's glorious. I love the almost duo chrome glitter on this one too. The notes are Oudh, Blackberry, Musk and Smoke. No wonder I like this, I adore anything with Oudh in. One of my favourite perfumes has that as the top note.
Then there's the Winter Court. I think this has to be one of my favourite places ever described in a book. Well, I love all of Sarah J Maas' fictional settings. This candles smells of Frost Berry and Apple but I swear I'm picking up a bit of a minty smell too. Either way, it's gorgeous.
Penultimately, a candle I have given up trying to pronounce, Panserbjorne Palace which is apparently from His Dark Materials...which I really need to read. This candle smells of Amber, Verbena and Snow.
Finally, the Enchanted Woods, which is from another series I really should read. The Chronicles of Narnia was one of my absolute favourite films growing up. This smells exactly how I imagined Narnia would...not that it was something I thought about often. This candle has Log Fire, White Musk and Winter Jasmine listed on the label.
That's it for the January Book and Nook box.
Have you tried any bookish boxes or candles?
What did you think?
Thank-you for reading,
