I love glitter but I've always hated how messy it is. There's no easy way to apply it without it getting absolutely everywhere, weeks pass by and you're still finding specs of it everywhere. Like how on earth did that spec of copper glitter get in my eyebrow when the last time I used it was NYE?! Then I heard about the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow and I went full meerkat. Head popped up and out came the phone notes. I wasn't sure how well these would work but I loved the idea. I've had problems with liquid eyeshadows in the past creasing and fading. But I wanted to give these a go regardless. I started off with two...as you can tell I rather like them considering I now own four!
Each shade has different coloured glitters suspended in a sheerer base shade. They apply incredibly wet but dry fairly quickly, upon first application if possible try not to move the eye. I made the mistake of doing this, it creased and once it dries it doesn't budge. I've found the best way of application to be using the doe foot wand and then tapping it out with a ring finger. It's easy to blend them out, control where the glitter goes and you don't need to use vast amounts of the product. I've seen some swatches of the new collection coming soon and I can't wait to pick them up.
Have you tried any of the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows?
What did you think?
