Glossier has been my go-to brand for skincare and 'natural' make up for a while now. I haven't recently tried anything new until I was in desperate need of a restock of their Milky Jelly Cleanser (my favourite) and saw the bundle they offered with the Futuredew oil serum hybrid. I was intrigued. I've heard a few people talk about this and hail it as a skincare god that really adds glow back into your complexion.
For years I'd been afraid of the word glow having been an oily skinned babe for most of my teens. Not fun coming home from work to see your face sliding off the bottom of your chin like a melted barbie (I might be exaggerating here).
I hit my twenties and my skin finally (touches every wooden item in sight) started to calm down both oil wise and breakout wise. So, I delved into the world of glow creating/inducing products and let me tell you it has been life changing.
Futuredew has a strange texture, it's very runny but as soon as you begin to work it into the skin it almost clings and becomes tacky. It isn't unpleasant at all, it just shows it's going to stay around for a while. It gives an immediate glow and healthy look without a spec of glitter or sparkle in sight.
For the first time in years, I've got a tan, mainly from all the work I've been doing in our garden. Side note, I've planted some herbs and veg and I'm more excited about it that I should be. Circling back, my skin is the best it's been (once again touches everything wooden in sight) and I've been managing to get away with wearing little to no makeup and a bit of this. I have to say, I love the look.
I don't think I could be without this now.
Have you tried the Glossier Futuredew?
What did you think?
