Beauty and the Beast is by far my favourite Disney film and one of my favourite fairytales. How could I pick anything else? The library alone from the film makes it a favourite. When Fairyloot announced the theme Beast and Beauty and I was so excited. I can't recall a box having one story as a theme before but it's something I think they could do more. Particularly, as you consider how many retellings come out every single year!
A Curse so Dark and Lonely has been on my radar for a while. I received an early copy but never got around to reading it pre-publication. It's one that I loved the premise of but the reading list for my course gets royally in the way.
**Taken from the book**
Prince Rhen, the heir to Emberfall, is cursed. Forced to repeat the autumn of his eighteenth year over and over, he can only be freed if a girl truly falls for him, and after so many failures his kingdom and its people are barely holding on.
Harper's life has never been easy, but she's learned to be tough enough to survive the streets of Washington, DC. When she is sucked into Rhen's world, nothing is as it seems. Powerful forces are standing against Emberfall...and it will take more than a broken curse to save it from utter ruin.
This wall tapestry is stunning...and huge. At the moment I have nowhere to put it so it's living in a drawer waiting for a perfect spot. I like how it looks painted too. A very unique item of beautiful quality and it was designed by Sweet Sequels.
If it's not baroque don't fix it...one of my favourite lines from the film. Loved it. This dish is perfect for keeping my favourite necklaces in next to my bed. It's finished off so beautifully and was designed by Drop and Give Me Nerdy.
Tarot cards round three! Once again the lovely art is by Emily Haynes and these two are of Morrigan and Rhys!
Finally, this months character art is by kf1n3.
As always the monthly spoiler card was designed by Taratjah.
For publisher swag, we received two bookmarks. One of A Curse so Dark and Lonely and City of Brass.
So that was my February Fairyloot Unboxing!
Have you tried any bookish subscription boxes before?
