I have now run out of room on my shelves for all the things. The books are on the floor, the candles are everywhere and I couldn't be happier. I don't think my family shares my sentiments...I need a mansion...Just so I can have a library. This month's Book and Nook theme was Fairytale Magic and I loveeeed this box.
Starting out with the extra item this month. This is definitely my favourite so far, I adore room sprays. You get a wonderful smelling space quickly without the need to light a candle and let it burn properly. This room spray is named Happily Ever After and smells exactly like the innards of Turkish Delight, a super sweet rose smell. I need more of this stuff.
I couldn't decide which was my favourite out of these two candles, they both smell incredible. Down the Rabbit Hole is clearly inspired by Alice in Wonderland, which is also my boyfriend's favourite book (which I haven't yet read - Sorry Ryan!). The label on this is so pretty, as is the wax colour. The bubblegum pink matches the scent perfectly, Chamomile, Strawberry and Peppermint. So sweet.
Tale as Old as Time is inspired by Beauty and the Beast which is my favourite disney film, because books. Duh. I was surprised that this wasn't a yellow candle but I do love the royal blue. This one smells of Amber, White Peach Blossom and Gold Orchid. It's still very sweet but with some subtle floral undertones.
Next up we have Stars Above inspired by the Lunar Chronicles, which I still haven't read...I know I know. This one is a beautiful lilac wax that smells of Lotus Blossom, Magnolia and Bergamot. This is superb floral!
Then Glass Slipper from Cinderella which smells of English Pear, Mistletoe and Freesia. This one is so fresh smelling. It'd make such a nice linen spray.
And finally Mirror, Mirror which is an ode to Snow White. I love the silver glitter on this one! This candle smells of Pink Peony, Summer Flowers and Gardenia Blooms. I thought it'd be really floral but it's actually quite sweet. I like this!
That's it for the February Book and Nook box.
Have you tried any bookish boxes or candles?
What did you think?
Thank-you for reading,
