February Bird and Blend Tea Taster

February Bird and Blend Tea Taster

Three months into my Bird and Blend tea taster subscription and I have quite the stash now. I've loved everything I've been sent in these parcels so far. This month was no different. It's brilliant how varied the parcels are, there's such a wide variety of flavours in these packs. There's nothing like sitting with a good cup of tea and a book in your favourite place and a kitty sat on your lap.

I'm obsessed with this tea. The minute I opened it I knew I was going to love it. It smells like pancake day, sugary and sweet with a bit of tartness. Then it tastes even better, there's a little coconut hint to it too. I feel like this would be a really good tea to have as an iced tea. Its ingredients are rooibos, coconut nectar sugar and lemon peel. Sadly, this one isn't available on the site anymore.

I loved the smell of this tea in the packet, however, I wasn't as big a fan of the smell once I'd added water. There was something I couldn't quite put my finger on that I didn't really like. It tasted fine but I didn't notice any of the ingredients coming through that were listed on the packet. The ingredients are rooibos, desiccated coconut fenugreek, toasted rice and rose petals. In fact, all I could get was the rice. This one is also no longer available on the website.

Think of Turkish delight, this tea is it. If fairies existed this is definitely what they'd be drinking. It's so sweet and aromatic. I love it. A very spring/summer drink. You get the rose hit first with a peachy aftertaste, two of my favourite flavours. The ingredients are Chinese sencha green tea, sumac berries, freeze-dried peach, rose petals, and sunflower petals. It looks as gorgeous in the packet as it tastes with all those petals.

Link to find it here.
