December Fairyloot

It's official, I'm obsessed with Fairy Loot. I've started plotting my breaks at work so that I can order the next box before they sell out! I was really intrigued by this months theme, Oh So Regal. I've started making guesses at what the book will be and for this one I had no clue at all. But, I'm incredibly happy with what it was. Now, I can't wait for the January and February boxes...

As always let's start with the book. This month we were sent Everless by Sara Holland (Goodreads page here) which I did already own in ARC/Proof form but the finished cover is absolutely gorgeous. This book had been on my radar for a while but I completely forgot what it was about, hence why I didn't make a guess for this months book. In this novel time is the currency and if you run out of time you die. The main character is forced to return to the place she and her father fled in order to get more time for him. I've never heard of any other novel with this kinda of premise. I can't wait to start it!

I've never received a Funko Pop from Fairyloot before so I was incredibly excited when I found out we'd be getting one in this box. I do think they've included them before though if memory serves. There was a selection of Pops in the boxes, out of the six I received Jasmine which I was thrilled with. Aladdin has always been a favourite film of mine. The others were Simba, Rapunzel, Pocahontas, Ariel and Tiana.

Next up we have a candle from A Court of Candles which is another brand I have only ever lusted after before. Again there were a few up for grabs and this time I got Prince Eric which smells of Peach, Sea Mist and Driftwood. A very clean but slightly sweet scent. The others were Aladdin, Prince Charming from Cinderella and Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast.

Then we have a zip pouch based on No Fear by Shakespeare and designed by the ever so talented Miss Phi. I have no clue what I'm going to use this for but I'll find a use! It's simply gorgeous.

Fiction Tea! I follow her on Instagram, she's fab. I've been eyeing up her etsy store for ages, those bookmarks are just plain gorgeous. For Fairy Loot she designed an enamel keyring with the phrase books rule. This is already on my keys...

As always we have the Bookmark designed by Taratjah with the same illustration as the spoiler card.

Finally, for the items we have a notebook inspired by Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard and designed by Stella's Bookish Art. I must admit I'm scared to write in this, I always am with pretty notebooks. I don't want to make a mistake.

For publisher swag we got a sample of the book Rosemarked which actually sounds fantastic! Then there's also a bookmark promoting War Storm by Victoria Aveyard. I can't wait for this to come out.

So that was my December Fairyloot Unboxing!

Have you tried any bookish subscription boxes before?

What did you think? And what was your favourite item from this box?

Thank-you for reading,

This all looks so pretty! I haven’t signed up to any book subscription boxes as I haven’t found one that really appeals, but it seems like you get a ton of awesome stuff in this one.

Oh my gosh. Fairyloot is incredible. I was a little dubious when I started having a look around for a sub box. I’d heard some horror stories about other boxes but I have to say Fairyloot consistently produces incredible items and really brings the book community together. Most of the creators that design for them have etsy stores and that kind of thing. And the book is always fab! I’d say check out their insta but I guarantee you’ll end up wanting to order…
