A Glossier Birthday

January 10, 2018

Yes my birthday was in November (I turned 21) but I wanted to give these products a fair test before I spoke to you about them! I'd heard a lot about this brand, mainly from a group of UK based YouTubers (Lily Pebbles, The Anna Edit, Hello October and I Covet Thee) and since then had lusted after them. Finally, they started to ship to the UK...and I might have the form of an extensive list that I perhaps wanted to try these to my darling parents. (If you are reading this THANKYOU!...again)

First up we have the Balm dotcom, the do it all wonder balm. I don't like using this anywhere other than my lips, but supposedly you can put on anywhere that's dry. Elbows, knees, cuticles. Wherever you fancy. I have three flavours in this, Mint, Cherry and Birthday. From the swatches below you can see that only Cherry has a tint and birthday has glitter in it. Both things that I love. If I'm in the house all day I'll whack one of these on. At night I love using the Mint one. They're incredibly moisturising and last a long time on the lips.

The Haloscope, I've heard a lot about these both good and bad. But after loving the Colourpop cream highlighters I thought I'd give them a go. These are so easy to use and make a great base for any powder highlighter you want to put on top. I have the shades Quartz and Moonstone and I think I like the shade Quartz the most. I recommend using your fingers to apply these. Rub the stick on your fingers and then tap onto the cheekbones. I also love using these on my shoulders and collarbones. Absolutely stunning.

The lipsticks. They are incredibly sheer and I'm shocked by how much I like that. For the days where I want just a slight amount of colour these are perfect. I love both Leo and Crush for different reasons. Leo looks incredible over the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. Crush I love wearing all over alone for a rosy tint. Highly recommend.

Milky Jelly Cleanser. This cannot remove my cake face of make-up so I prefer this for no-make days and in the morning. It smells incredible, leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. Winner.

Then I love the Boy Brow. I have mine in Brown and its the perfect shade for me. Keeps my brows in place and also helps define the hairs that are there. The lipgloss I will admit I haven't used because I'm not a gloss person. I think there was a bundle that the parentals got hence why I have two of these!

What have you tried from Glossier?

Did you like it?

Thank-you for reading,
